Version 3.1 - eTickets
Get Your Tickets Here!
One of the many requests we’ve received over the last few months has been for eTickets, that is to say the ability for customers to print their tickets at home - not an invoice or receipt, but tickets. So today we’ve rolled out eTickets here on TicketstotheCity with version 3.1 (more about this release below). The tickets do have a functioning barcode, however our scanner implementation is still a few months away from being complete (integrating barcode scanning for a web application seems to be trickier than for a standard windows or mac application). You can apply eTickets to any event, new or current, by going to the events section and from either the Add a New Event or Edit an Event form choose “yes” from the eTickets drop down. Here is an example of our new eTickets:
Further updates in version 3.1 include:
- Improved reserved seating section wizard; you can now set rows to label in odd or even numbers, skip row letters and start rows on specific numbers.
- New partner system for affiliates (more on this later)
- And a few bug fixes relating to the VBO
