A minor update today as we introduce percentage-based coupons. For those of you using coupon codes you can now specify if the code is good towards a monetary value or percentage, and of course the same per-ticket or per-order discounts are available.

As a peek into what we’re bringing to TicketstotheCity over the next month here is a list of features currently being cooked up in our lab:

Criteria-based Discounts

Continuing with our discount theme we’re working on offering you the ability to specify discounts based on a number of different criteria. For instance, say you want to offer discounts, but only if the customer is purchasing 10 or more tickets? No problem! With the upcoming new discounts all you’ll need to do is specify the new discount, base it on ticket quantity and enter a discount amount (monetary or percentage).

How did you hear about us?

This one was actually on our list for last month, but critical updates and mantience got first priority. In fact, you can see the beginnings of this feature if you click on account settings at the top right corner of this window. Basically this feature will allow you to generate a drop down list of options a customer can select to inform you as to where they heard about your group (i.e. Yellow Pages, Mailer, GuidetotheCity, etc). Currently the box in your account settings only stores information we have yet to enable the drop down on the checkout page.
